![]() I bought a few SP Tapa Sodas from the vending machine but didn't buy enough it seems. Between using SP from both Yosuke and the main hero, I'm worried I won't have enough by the time I face Yukiko. The problem is that is I keep having to use my SP to heal and I'm running out fast. I'm trying to rescue Yukiko and the enemies, even on normal are kinda kicking my ass. The date is currently 4/25 and my party is level 9. The best part is learning jungian psychology the charisma and personality of the characters and seeing them interact with each other. Other than that, don't expect much of the story, it isn't that good. And play around with the Persona fusions, you can't really go wrong (or make something so wrong that is unfixable). Be ready to grind, not a lot but you'll sometimes have to. If you want the true ending (and one that makes everything kind of make sense) you have to max a specific social link before a date (won't say anything so I don't spoil anything, but you can easily look for it if interested). Also, focus your party on three characters you like/work well together, it will save money and time (this is probably very obvious but I wish someone had told me for my first P3 playthrough lol) I don't recomend playing the game on a difficulty lower than Medium (or whatever is called) because it just becomes tedious, either way you can change it anytime so you can see what's better for you. I also recommend using a guide to know what you should answer for the socials links, as to not fuck anything up (but not use a calendar for them, that's more a NG+). ![]() So, for the social links I suggest that you max out the ones for the ppl in your party (specially Yosuke). That's all I can think of, I hope this helps even one new player and I also hope that others can chime in with their own tips. Buffing your party and/or debuffing enemies can mean the difference between victory or a party wipe. From the Bathhouse dungeon and beyond, the game will do its best to make sure you're aware of how good they can be. ![]() Most first-time players (including myself) fell into a trap of simply brute-forcing through the first few dungeons because it was easy and because RPGs tend to have a stigma of status de/buffs not being useful. You will quickly find that the game becomes much harder if you stick with that Lvl.13 Slime rather than fuse it to create something better (apologies to any Slime fans). It can be easy to bond with a Persona that you've been using a bunch, but Persona are made to be fused (ESPECIALLY the early game ones). Do also try to plan your dungeon days around rainy days as well, for bigger gains. Several of the early dungeons, even in a first-run, should only take maybe 3 days max to complete. It gives you more time to develop S.Links or improve your Social Qualities, which pay off in the long run. There's maybe one or two cases where it's actually better to prolong going to a dungeon, but in general it's wiser to get it done ASAP. Speaking of completing dungeons, the earlier you clear them the better. ![]() ![]() There's plenty of save slots, so use them! Sometimes you may screw something up, and it might end up biting you in the ass because you can't get that time back. You have a finite number of in-game days to complete a dungeon, and even less time to fit in all the extracurriculars you could be doing to gain more S.Links. I urge others to add to this or offer a second opinion as well, since this shouldn't be taken as gospel but more of a "hey just in case." I've also tries to keep the tips spoiler-free and not too "hand-holdy." Also I kept putting this off but I have some helpful tips for anyone who may be playing this for the first time. ![]()
